The approach

Light finds a face. We help it stay. Every session starts with a conversation and ends with a portrait you will keep for years.

Start in the shadows.

Shadow gives a face its shape. We place every light on purpose, so the dark does half the work.

VE Dang Studios is Eddie Dang, a photographer and director in Boston. Most people do not love being photographed. That is the point. We plan the light, pick the place, and coach every pose, so you can just show up.
